All they need now is a home. Should they go here?
Here ....
Or somewhere else all together? Your opinions are greatly appreciated! And thanks so much, Neenah, for giving them to me. I just adore them! Vintage portraits are my #1 home decor obsession, and having some of my own family members is just the icing on the cake. XOXOXO
How fun! I vote under that staircase : )
ReplyDeletewow, those are so awesome! what unique pieces of art to have in your home! I vote for under the stairs!
ReplyDeleteso precious! i love them...i vote for the guess bedroom. i think the bright colors with compliment the colors of the room perfectly!
ReplyDeletehi marygrace.
ReplyDeleteso pretty.
since you asked me, i would hang them in place of the black and whites in the bedroom. i would hang them lower to the table so they don't look like they are floating away. i think the colors are perfect for that room but wherever they land will be perfect.

I'll break the tie and say under the staircase. :)
ReplyDeletebedroom
ReplyDeleteoops, i'm going to make it a tie again. i think they would look great in the guest bedroom!
ReplyDeleteSo that's 3 for the staircase and 4 for the bedroom! Thanks for the votes, everyone. Keep 'em coming!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of the black and white posters staying where they are, but they REALLY need frames, and I just can't seem to find any pre-made frames for those dimensions, and I don't want to have frames made for some already-beat-up posters. So I may go with the guest bedroom. But at the same time, I'm tired of the blank wall under the Brady Bunch stairs.
Decisions, decisions!
Let me first just say that I absolutely love your blog and check it everyday for a little perk up! I vote for under the staircase so that you and others may see them and enjoy them. Who doesn't want to think of their grandparents when they were young? Fills me with joy! -Nicole
ReplyDeleteHow special!! Those are amazing, I love the colors. I think they would totally pop in the guest bedroom, thats my vote! As far as frames for the black and white portraits go, maybe you could make frames? You could cut apart a pallete, get molding from home depot, or cut down a larger frame and just get new glass (which is annoying but CHEAP).
ReplyDeleteYour "Neenah" looks so pretty - must be where you get it from! I'm going with under the staircase. I can already picture them there and I'm rather partial to the existing look you have in the bedroom, so... yup, under the staircase is my vote. Can't wait to see what you decide! :)
ReplyDeleteNicole - That is so sweet! thank you so, so much! I'm really glad you enjoy it:)
ReplyDeletePaper Cup - Oooo I like that idea! I may actually try that, because I do really want to have them framed but don't want to pay for it!
Poly - On behalf of myself and my Neenah, thank you very much!!!
