portrait love

This picture is my very most favorite shot from our wedding day, I love it! My parents wanted us to give us a portrait from our wedding as a gift, and this is the one we chose:) It arrived a few weeks ago, and I've gone back and forth about a million times on how to frame it. I went to so many different framing shops, but I couldn't find anything I wanted. Finally, I found a portrait studio that is going out of business, and snatched up one of their professional frames.


Here it is in all it's non-glory.


 

I took it apart, painted it, sanded it within an inch of it's life, and ...



Voila! Now I just have to figure out where to hang it. Come back tomorrow for a full post about that!

    Hang it over the master bed. Good feng sh-way
    (however you spell it)to have romantic pictures in the bedroom - supposedly pics of you and the spouse are the ONLY pics you should have in the bedroom. Included in my bedroom are pictures of my cat, dogs, and bird - which could be why my love life is not what I'd like it to be.
