cha-cha-cha-changes

If you're just tuning in, I bet you're surprised! Can you believe that this is the same little blog that once looked like this?

This blog has gotten makeover after makeover, but all along I've had a look like this in mind. It's been a long process, and it's definitely put my husband's photoshop knowledge and our combined HTML coding knowledge to the test! I am in looooooooove with, and very proud of, the new and improved white waxflower.

There are so many new features that we've added, I really don't know where to start, but I'll give it a try.
  • I made some changes to my personal profile. See "meet mary grace"
  • I made a brand new "about" section titled "meet the fontenots". Eventually I'll add the full how we met, how he proposed, etc. stories in there. Warning: it's a pretty mushy "about" page. Don't say I didn't warn you.
  • The body of the blog is now much wider, allowing me to post much bigger pictures! This might be my favorite new feature of all. Scroll down to yesterday's anthro open house post to see what I mean.
  • of course we have the lovely new banner as well as the trellis-design background. Oh and that's us in the banner pictures:)
  • The "before & after" section has been re-vamped. Now, rather than take you to old blog posts about my projects, it will take you to a whole new page featuring just the basics: before shot, after shot, and how much the total project cost.
  • totally new color scheme and some new fonts as well.

Hope you enjoy the new look! It was a lot of work and I really like it, so it's not going anywhere for awhile;)

  2. Oh my goodness! I LOVE it! The header is beautiful. Now I'm gonna go read your mushy "about" page! :)

(And I'm sitting here thinking I need to find someone who can code me up a totally awesome, wider layout too!)
