Design*Sponge has a lovely feature that I look forward to every month ... they give free desktop background as "gifts" to their readers! They feature different artists, and there's a new image each month. You can also choose to have an image with a little calender on it, or not.
This is what this month's desktop background looks like, and you can pick it up by clicking here. I already have mine up! It's like seeing a little work of art every time I open my laptop.
