a new weekly (or every-other-week) feature:

I've been hesitating to post this, because it's still in the pre-production stages, but I am working on a new weekly feature for white waxflower! I am trying to decide between these three:

a) "Day in The Life": this is a common feature, but with a twist ... well, two twists. I will pick people with various occupations and geographical locations (ie one week it might be a homemaker in Tennessee and the next week a welder in Michigan). There are lots of fun "Day in a Life" features out there, but most of them feature people with super fabulous jobs, hometowns, and incomes. Also, it won't be your typical question-and-answer format. I'll be doing something a little fun and different, but I don't want to give it away just yet. This one would more likely be an every-other-week feature.

b) "Ingredients for a Party": You know how Design*Sponge does those super-fun "Living In" posts, where they make a design board based on a movie? I would do something similar, but instead, it would be for themed parties. For example: an Alice in Wonderland themed sweet 16 birthday party, a Mad Men themed grown-up summer barbecue, you get the idea.

c) "Ask the Expert": Each week (or possibly every other week) I would feature an "expert". It might be someone that is a great cook, a great decorator, a photographer, etc. You could submit your questions, the "expert" would pick 3-5 questions to answer, and answer them! As a bonus, I may make it so that the "expert" as well as the 3-5 people who's question gets picked are eligible for a prize.
