We're moving!!!

I've been keeping quiet about this for several months now, because I was afraid somehow it was all going to fall apart and we wouldn't be able to go after all, but ... I am excited to say that I can officially announce that we're moving to San Diego! THIS WEEKEND!

I wonder if this guy is available for hire?

We love San Diego, and in the 2.5 years we've lived here, we've driven down to SD every chance we got. We've wanted to live there since the first time we visited, but we wanted to wait until jobs, finances, housing and everything else fell perfectly into place.

Sunday we spent the entire day going from neighborhood to neighborhood, checking out listing after listing after listing. We got a little rental car to use for the day, and we had put over 250 miles on it before it was even time to drive back to Orange County. After a full day of craziness .. we could tell stories about our experiences for weeks ... we finally found a great little townhouse. So much more than we expected to get for our money. It's two-story, and double our current square footage:) I'm very big on having our home company-ready and organized as much as possible, so imagine my excitement that we'll be going from having 2 main closets and one linen closet to two linen closets, two storage closets, a walk-in closet, and 3 regular closets!

We're going to try to be totally moved in by Saturday night. We start Friday night. I'm a bit nervous about trying to pack everything up by then, but I know we can do it:) Stay tuned for lots and lots of pictures!
