It felt weird not posting anything on my blog all day yesterday, I don't think I've taken a "day off" since Christmas weekend! I thought I'd kick the day off by sharing the card my adorable husband made for me. I mentioned yesterday that we have a tradition of making cards for each other ... well, his newest one for me is my favorite of all so far:)

We're a bit ridiculous when it comes to the pet names. We have a whole slew of nicknames for each other, and they usually come from some sort of inside joke and would take forever to explain. His "concept" (using my design terms here, ha!) was Sweethearts candies, and he even put a little sheet of cellophane over the hearts on the front to make them look like a box of Sweethearts. Cracked me up! Written on those hearts is just a very small sampling of the names he has for me!

Isn't that the cutest thing? It made me happy:) I think it's funny we both made "binding" for our cards. Maybe it's because of my ever-growing collection of vintage books that we both have books and binding on the brain.
My husband makes cards for me too. The back says "BeautMark" like Hallmark...but after our cat names Beauty. So now every holiday I expect a BeautMark card.
