pouf the magic furniture

Just ignore that title up there. I was trying to think of something cute with the word "pouf" in it and couldn't think of anything. That was the best I could do!

If you follow decorating blogs, you've probably seen these Pouf stools pop up all over the place. One of my favorite bloggers, Katy Elliot, blogged about it ... and more recently a big Pouf was pictured on Decor8.

I learned to knit when I was about 10. I asked my grandmother to teach me and she was kind enough to indulge me in some lessons. I still kinda remember how to do it, but this may be a bit beyond my abilities. I REALLY want to try, though. I may head to a craft store tomorrow and buy some big needles and yarn and just give it a go. Hmmm ... what color pouf should I make?
