I love, love, love flea market style decor. I love browsing Craigslist and Etsy for fun vintage finds, and I go to flea markets and thrift stores whenever I get a chance. Here are some flea market chic images that I am enjoying this week!
I did a double take when I saw this picture with the giant portrait of Queen Elizabeth. A local thrift shop a few blocks away has a vintage Queen Elizabeth portrait painting I've been eyeing for a months, but they have it marked up much too high. I thought people would think I was crazy, buying a portrait of Queen Elizabeth, but maybe I was on to something after all:) Maybe I'll drop in tomorrow and try to haggle with them!
Isn't that stained glass window so sweet? I also love the china above the bathtub. Who would think to decorate with dishes in the bathroom? But it looks great.
This looks like an adorable set-up for a little girl's Alice and the Mad Hatter's tea party:)
Those green chairs are a little bold for my tastes, but paint them a pale yellow or pink and I'd kill for this kitchen!
OMG, I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE that picture! How much are they asking for it? I'm curious.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great?
ReplyDeleteThe one in the thrift shop here is dramatically smaller, probably about 12x14 inches or so, but I think last time I was in there they were asking $40. It's not in the greatest shape and I think $20 would be a more reasonable price.
I take it you won't think I'm crazy if I start blogging about a Queen E. portrait, then? ;)
