I've added this picture to the house tour and taken out the old one ... this one:

There isn't a huge difference, but I got a new lampshade and a new pillow, and I decided that was enough of a change to take a new picture:)

Isn't that bullseye pillow the cutest? It came from World Market, and that lamp shade was just a few bucks at a yard sale!

If you've been reading white waxflower for a while, then you know that our dog Jemima has never met a camera she didn't like. Here she is treating us to an impromptu photo shoot. Work it, Jemima!

And I'm loving that lampshade too! It's crazy how well it goes with your headboard!

  4. janet - thank you so much! she's our pride and joy:)

jenny - thank you! we're so relieved she's getting back to her old routines and walking better every day. I couldn't believe how well it matched either, I think the people having the garage sale were confused as to why I was sooooo excited about it, haha.

emily ann - thank you! I'd had my eye on it forever and it finally went on sale, 50% off:)

  5. The dog shots are so cute! I have to ask...does she have a brush? She looks awfully shaggy. Maybe she's supposed to. Either way, she's cute!

  6. Anonymous - She IS very shaggy, and unfortunately I have to wait one more week before I can take her to the groomer. She had a herniated disk last month, which she had to have surgery for, and her doctor told us not to take her to the groomer until next week, because the stress could slow down her healing process. She's been getting bathed and brushed at home, but with hair that long, there's only so much we can do. Stay tuned next week for pictures of a much shorter-haired dog (finally!)

  7. Just found your blog via the gardeners cottage. I really like how you have decorated your house, and your dog Jemima is adorable. Is she a schnoodle? She looks very much like our dog, Auggie! I look forward to seeing more pictures, will add you to my favorites : )

  8. Kelly - Your comment made my day! Thank you very much! She's actually a cockapoo or a lhasapoo, we aren't sure which. So, very similar to a schnoodle! Thank you so much for adding me!
